Butter Chicken

Use our Duo Crisp to whip up the tastiest butter chicken in a flash for your friends and family.  Plus you can even make naan bread with the air fryer lid!


Ingredients:
4 fillets of white meat, breast / thigh, chopped into 2cm pieces
1 teaspoon ginger & garlic mix added to chicken to marinade
Olive oil 
1 chopped onion
1 teaspoon ginger garlic
1 teaspoon chopped garlic 
1 teaspoon crushed cumin 
1 teaspoon crushed coriander seeds
1 teaspoon chilli powder 
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1.5 teaspoon salt 
1/2 teaspoon pepper 
1 teaspoon gharam masala
1 can chopped tomatoes
50g tomato purée 
25g butter
150ml cream


Method:
Set the Duo Crisp to Sauté. Add in olive oil and onions and sauté till soft, add in ginger garlic, garlic and all the spices. Add in the chicken and stir. Add into the tomato purée and tin tomatoes. Stir together and mix well, and make sure nothing is sticking at the bottom of the inner pot.  Set the Duo Crisp to Pressure Cook for 5 minutes. Leave to naturally release once done. 
Once complete, remove the lid carefully and separate the chicken onto a plate. Add in butter and 1/2 tsp gharam masala. Blend the sauce together with a stick blender (optional). Add in fresh cream and mix. Add the chicken back in.


Garnish with chopped coriander and serve with garlic naan.
