Honey and Garlic Chicken

This tender and flavourful honey and garlic chicken cooks perfectly in only minutes and is delicious on a bed of jasmine rice.


  • 1 packet of chicken fillets, cubed
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 spring onions, sliced for garnish
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 packet sugar snap peas, halved

Sauce:

  • 2 1/2 tbsp honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sriracha
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt


Saute the onions and chicken until it starts to colour.


Add all the sauce ingredients together and mix. Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir.


Secure the lid, move the pressure release valve to Sealing and set it on High Pressure for 3 minutes. When the timer is finished, do a Quick Pressure Release by moving the pressure release valve to Venting.


Remove the lid, stir and then turn on Saute mode, simmer until the sauce has thickened.


Once the sauce has thickened, add in the sugar snap peas and taste for seasoning.


Serve on a bed of jasmine rice and garnish with fresh spring onion.
