Air Fryer Chocolate Cake

A really quick, easy, indulgent chocolate cake made in the Instant Vortex air fryer. There’s no beating of eggs and separating of ingredients involved in this. Who has time for that when the craving hits?  Just throw everything into a bowl, mix it together and bake for 180°C for 5 minutes.

I filled this with caramel and cream, and completed it with a @cadbury_sa chocolate ganache topping.
It’s teeny-tiny but it hits the spot 

Ingredients:

1/2 cup flour
3 tbsp cocoa
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup boiling water
1/4 cup oil
1 tsp vanilla

Filling:

Caramel treat

Cream

Chocolate to ganache

In a bowl, add all the dry ingredients followed by wet ingredients (not the filling ingredients). Mix well and transfer your dough to a baking tin. Select air fry for 5 minutes on 180°C. Once done, allow cake to cool and cut in the middle. On the one chocolate cake layer, fill with caramel, cream and place the other chocolate cake layer on top.
